Privacy Policy

// 01 — the short version

stonk.gg is a directory. There are no user accounts, no tracking cookies, no ads, no analytics profiles, and we never sell data. The only personal information we hold is what people send us when they submit a listing.

// 02 — what we collect

• Listing submissions.If you submit an app, Discord server, or creator account, we store what you typed: the name, URL, category, one-line pitch, and your contact email. That's the whole record.
• Click counts.We count how many times outbound "Visit" links are clicked. These are anonymous totals per listing — not tied to who clicked.
• Technical request data.Like every website, our hosting provider processes IP addresses and request logs to serve pages and prevent abuse (e.g. rate limiting spam submissions). We don't build profiles from this and we don't store IP addresses in our database.
• Cookies: none. Visitors get no cookies from us — no tracking, no advertising, no analytics cookies. Ever.

// 03 — what we use it for

• Reviewing and publishing listings (the entire point of the form).
• Contacting you about your own listing — approval, questions, changes.
• Keeping spam and scams off the floor.

That's the list. We don't sell personal data, rent it, trade it, or use it for advertising. If boost tiers launch, payment processing will be handled by a payment provider (e.g. Stripe) and this policy will be updated before that happens.

// 04 — where it lives

The site and its database run on established, security-audited cloud infrastructure providers, who act as processors on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. Submission data stays within that infrastructure.

// 05 — how long we keep it

• Approved listings: for as long as the listing is live.
• Rejected or delisted submissions: deleted from the active database during periodic cleanups.
• Anything, on request: see below.

// 06 — your rights

DM @stonk_gg on X and we'll show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it — including removing a listing entirely. We honor removal requests same-day wherever humanly possible. Depending on where you live (e.g. the EU/UK under GDPR, or California under CCPA), these rights are also yours by law; we treat them as everyone's rights regardless.

// 07 — third-party links

Every listing links out to third-party websites, servers, and social platforms. Once you leave stonk.gg, their privacy policies apply, not ours. We don't control them and honestly nobody reads their policies either.

// 08 — children

stonk.gg is about market software and is not directed at children under 16. We don't knowingly collect information from them; if that somehow happens, tell us and it's gone.

// 09 — changes

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top and note it visibly on the site. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
